Rambling Monarch is a light refreshing summer ale best enjoyed after a walk along the Monarch’s Way which passes through Bramber and Upper Beeding following the route of King Charles II’s escape to France from Shoreham in 1651.
The floral, citrus/spicy aroma of East Kent & Styrian Golding hops is followed by the classic bitter taste of Challenger hops leaving the drinker suitably refreshed to continue their on their way.
This seasonal beer has been brewed to celebrate our current monarch’s 90th birthday.

11/7/2019. Bottle from the Sussex Beer Festival. Pours pale amber with an average sized off-white head. Aroma of hops, malt, fruit, light berries, slighty resinous. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with a tart hint. Moderate body, oily texture, quite fizzy carbonation.
