Bottle from Local in Carlisle. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - creamy, chocolate. Light toffee and biscuits. Liquorice even. Taste - toffee, chocolate and honeycomb. Crunchie Bar. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - a well made and balanced beer. Possibly should’ve set this up as a stout, but the deScription said mild.
