At the Brackenrigg now rebranded as "Alfred's Golden Ale". Appearance - golden amber with a neat lacy head. Nose - green apple, pale malt. Taste - more apple, light grass. Some lemon custard. Biscuit at the back. Palate - light bodied, creamy texture, dry finish. Overall - a solid citizen.
