500ml bottle from Beer hive. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of wood, yeast, light roast. Taste is woody again, similar yeastiness to the pale. Charcoal finish.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of coffee, ash, fig and Terry’s chocolate orange. Flavour of dark chocolate, Coco Pops dust, roasted malts and a hint of orange. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. A tasty Porter - almost strong and hoppy enough to be a Black IPA.
