Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - looks like a setting sun. With a light lace covering. Nose - very light red fruits, but maybe apricots is closer. Taste - bitter orange, not expected from a lager. Light spice. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Grippy tannins.Very persistent! Overall - a Munich Red Bock. Very interesting.

500ml bottle from Great Grog. Pours hazy golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of cooked veg, caramel, light apricot. Taste is sweet initially, fruity, with a dry, flinty finish. Slight tannins. Decent.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy bronze body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of grain, brown bread, wet cardboard and peach. Flavour of lightly roasted malts, apricot and stewed tea. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Quite dull by Luckie Ales’ high standards.
