50cl bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy amber with a nice head. Nose - toffee and spices. Taste - stewed apples and toffee. A little spice again. Generally toffee apple though. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy yet crunchy texture. Overall - yeah this is really a Bitter isn’t it?

500ml bottle shared with jeevan. Pours hazy amber with a little head, soft carbonation. Aromas of light caramel malt and floral hops. Taste is light bitter, light biscuity sweetness, and a mineral note at the end. Finishes clean and crisp. A fine beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 13/03/10. Deep gold with a slight white head. Slight, malty aroma with a touch of fruit. Flavour had a mineral edge, some citrus and dry finish. Ok.

Cask, Three Guineas, Reading. Weak, pallid looking gold colour with a thin white head and some lacing. Not much in the aroma, or flavour for that matter. Maybe some watery citrus, but this really wasn’t great at all.
