An extra strong pilsner at 7.7% abv, but retaining it’s light color and crisp lager character. Generously hopped with Czech Saaz hops, balancing the copius amount of German pilsner malt. This beer could be accurately classified and "uber-pils" or "spring bock", but we just think it’s happy.

Growler from the brewpub on 05/07/2011. Slightly hazy golden body with a large foamy white head. Sweet spicy and grassy hop aroma on a pils background. Sweet pils malt flavor with light spicy hops in the background. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Served on draft at the brewpub on 4/30/11. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of biscuity malts and floral hops. The taste is grainy and nutty with lots of Noble hops, grassy notes and a bit of apple. Strongly carbonated. Medium bodied. Well balanced. Nice beer.
