This German-style Wheat Ale uses a German yeast strain, which produces a unique blend of banana, clove and vanilla. El Jefe is unfiltered and highly carbonated making it extremely refreshing. Great with any meal.

On tap at Rock Bottom Arlington on 09/26/2010. Cloudy orange/yellow body with a large rocky white head. Big citrus and spice aroma. Citrus, clove and light banana flavor. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy lemon yellow color. Large head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet bread, yeast and light citrus. Taste is very bread and spicy. Finishes with strong citrus and tropical fruit notes. Thin-medium bodied.
