On tap at the Charleston Brewvival on 02/27/2010. Dark black body with a small tan head. Sweet chocolate and cherry aroma. Sour cherry flavor with light chocolate. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

Cask at Brewvival: Wood, walnut, and soy sauce nose. Black, thin yellow head, good lacing. It tastes of soy sauce, cherry syrup, and pecans, finishing with black cherries. Bloody texture. Not very sour, and probably not a good representative of the style.On the other hand, this was an amazing beer. Exceptionally unique, flavorful, and enjoyable. Aside from the appearance of Cigar City, this was the biggest surprise of the Brewvival.
