Cask at Reading Beer Festival. Goldish with a thin white head. Thin body. Light wheat and coriander seed with a little unpleasant sourness and a touch of soap. Something wrong here perhaps? Grim, whatever the reason.

Hand-pulled half-pint (as Brentwood White Elephant) on 30th Sep 2016 at The Crown Inn Oakengates. Golden pour, full white head. No coriander could be found in my beer, just a pleasant, slightly hoppy blend that was both thirst quenching and easy to drink. Nice.

Pigs Ear Day 1. Cask. Clear amber - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, fairly dry and has modest fine carbonation. Tangy malts. Spicy caramel. A soap streaked fruity floralness. ]Light finish. Christmas spiced nonsense.

Cask at Pig’s Ear 2015. It ours clear pale amber with minimal had. The nose is toasty, grainy, bread and cereal. The taste is toasty, grainy, oily, syrupy, straw, stewed stone fruit, apple skin, honeyed cereal and twig with a slick finish. Light body and oily mouth-feel. I thought this was pretty poorly executed. Very oily with not much flavour underpinning it.
