Bottle at Bellwoods, Toronto
Hazy blond color, generous head. The aroma is spicy and citrusy, some lemongrass. The mouthfeel is off dry; delicate malt flavor, hint of spices, perfect bitterness balance, with some sweaty hops.
There is some real brewing art here.

(Draught at Bryden’s, Toronto) Poured cold enough to dull the aroma, a clear golden blonde with a large, creamy white head. As it warmed, aromas of grain, herbs, grassy hops and a little musty yeast, fairly faint overall. Flavour is dominated by a dry leafy herbal hop bite, lightly earthy yeast, quite dry grainy malt in the background without any of the Belgian candy sugar traits. A little peppery spice in the dry finish. A little astringent, very crisp and light-bodied with fairly soft but ample carbonation. Refreshing and well-made saison-ish ale, but flavours on the light side.

Smell is pretty light here. There’s some musky, grass- like bitter. Pours pale blond with a little lacing. A touch of sourness in the finish. Its a little disappointing, honestly. Had higher hopes here. On tap at volos.

Yellow, not much head. Big floral coriander aroma. Dry, with a light body, lots of coriander and earthy hops. Austere, hoppy and spicy.

Half of a comparative tasting of both Be and Que versions, thanks to the brewers! Very pale lemon yellow beer, small white rim. Dryish, young/milkripe grains, pinch of lemon. Dry, doughy and spiced (as ground mustard powder), wholemeal pasta. Champenoise pearling, light bodied, rainwater quality. Nice light, spritzy beer, refreshing.
