Can from The Beerhive. Dark brown body with a thick beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of banana bread, cinnamon, Twiglets, chocolate digestive biscuits and caramel. Flavour of warm spices, whisky and wood. Thin to medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Unusual and tasty.

On keg. Sweetish malty beer with hints of raisins. Sweetish thick, somehow strange...

Keg at the London Beer House, Piccadilly. It pours dark brown with a small tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, chocolate, molasses, gingerbread, sweet roast and cake. The taste is bitter - sweet, creamy, roasted malts, tangy fruits, chocolate, gingerbread, chewy malt, coffee and a touch of acidity with a dry, spiced finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty tasty and balanced.
