Surtr, der Schwarze, ein Feuerriese und Herrscher über Muspelsheim ist ein wahrlich böser Geselle. Er ist der Feind der nordischen Götter. Während der Ragnarök zertrennt er mit seinem Schwert Surtalogi die Regenbogenbrücke Bifröst, die Midgard mit Asgard verbindet. Mit Surtalogi tötet er auch den waffenlosen Freyr und entfacht schließlich den Weltenbrand, indem er Feuer in alle Himmelsrichtungen schleudert.
Tiefe Schwärze, Feuer und Rauch, all das findet sich in unserem Smoked Porter wieder. Es liefert ein sehr komplexes, doch ausgewogenes Geschmackserlebnis, vereint Röst- und Kaffeearomen, mit Noten von Zartbitterschokolade und Dörrobst. Betont werden diese Geschmacksnuancen durch einen feinen Rauchgeschmack im Hintergrund. Trinkt mit Umsicht. Übermäßiger Genuss führt zu Weltenbrand!

Bottle 0.33l from trade with Camons, many thanks, René! Lightly cloudy, red to brown colored. AROMA- smoky, toasted malts, chocolate. FLAVOR- neutral, pleasantly bitter, smoke, cherrries, chocolate, toasted malts. Medium to fuller bodied.

BKL2017. Smoky chocolate roast aroma. Darkest brown, creamy tan head. Medium full creamy base, roast, smoke, fruity notes , good balance.

0,33 l bottle. Thanks to Jan-Gerd & Kristall-König. A darkest red brown, nearly black in the glass with a small one finger beige head. Smells smokey with choco and some fruity sourness. Taste starts smooth with choco, some coffee, hop in the background. Smokey bedding. Little bit dark berriefruity. Unexciting second part. Thins a little bit out.
