Cask at Old Harkers Arms, Chester. Pours a murky dark brown with a small cream head and good lacing. There’s milky coffee and roasted malts in the aroma. In the mouth it is rich, smooth and creamy – a delight to the taste buds ! Flavour has roasted malts and hints of alcoholic strength. Later on chocolate and coffee come through as well. There’s some slight bitterness in the finish. This is rather nice.
