Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Black beer, decent tan head. Smells of dried fruit, sweet spice. Flavour has caramel, lots of malt, citrus, clove, sweet spice, a big hit of cherry, nuts. Rich, sweet and with a big boozy warmth. Manages to be rich and very sweet without being sickly which is impressive. Warm, fruity and boozy into the finish with the spice hanging about too. Lovely stuff.
