From a dented can. Heavy nose of thicker hops, almost volatile. Big foamy head that fades soon. Slight haze on an orange tinted pale yellow. Thick a mouth coating initial impressions. Thick and viscous fer sher. Very strong bitterness sets in but its not really astringent no sharp, just big ass bitter. Terribly bitter. Did I say hoppy big ass bitter yet? Well, it is. Difficult to take for a lager lover. Will somebody please give me a clean fresh cold cheap pale lager for a chaser? Whew.

Sample at Giant Eagle Market District Grandview during the "Craft Beer Week Kickoff Party" on 05/12/2017. Clear amber-bronze color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, herbal hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a copper color with a large foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was pine, catus, a bit of cat pee and was fairly sweet. The flavor was bitter, tangy and very sweet with pine, cactus, pepper, lemon and cat pee. Very long finish. Full bodied. Solid.
