From a $1 bottle off the sale rack at JRs. Pour is nearly clear with a big giant foaming white head. Nose is slightly veggie IPA perfume, typical session olfactory. From the start its terribly on style for an IPA. Straight up bitter ass. Its also augmented by that skunk cabbage thing which is so common with low alky hoppy session brews, yuck. Nasty nellie. Leaves a terribly grueling lasting session IPA taste in my pie-hole, long after the finish. Who wants to drink a nasty IPA beer without any alky to help numb your senses? Waste of time, but at least its a tick and it was only a buck. There you have it. One rude astringent mah-fah. Doesn't have much co2, considering its called refreshing. I'm quite disappointed in this because I really like penn brewery too.
