This was a great tasting IPA. Aroma was well balanced with grains and hops. Taste was also well balanced with a hoppy finish.

Big pounder can from chalet for two fitty. Mild IPA dull candy corn nose. Slight haze on pale eye with a decent one inch white foamy head. Taste is big bitter IPA with a band-aid feel in the background. Yes, that taste is rather difficult to get used too. This homeplace brewing must be pretty new, never heard of them and they only have a few brews on RB. The taste of this starts out rather fresh but then progresses to a duller rubbery feel near the middle. Gets a little mouth-coating once yer into the session. When I saw corn, I was thinking something like a decent well behaved IPL lager, but its not. Interesting that jimmy red is a bootleggers corn, seems more like field corn for cows if you ask me. In the end its just one more difficult IPA with the added feeling of band-aid flavor on the palate, go figger. Not impressed, taste like so many other ubiquitous IPA available to us out there.
