So tell me, WTF does IPO stand for? Bottle at near room temperature, oh no. Has a sweet alarming volatile nose, even seems to be slightly tart on the olfactory. $2 from chalet. Look is cloudy darker iced tea. Taste is an alky mix of mild, barely perceivable tartness, and wheat wine. Whew, I actually think the bourbon barrel milds it out a little. Too much personality for this lager lover. Decent amount of carbonation takes the edge off this brew. Drinkable, but cannot drink more than one of these fer sher. Quite an impact on the senses. I like the fact that there are no IPA characteristics bastardizing this brew. Not as bad as most domestic wheat wines and little less rude compared to most domestic strong ales.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear dark orange color with a thin white head tha evaporates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of oak, malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and subtle bourbon. The finish is slightly oaky with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
