Bottle from Chalet in boardman, nice place. Smell is immediately blueberry apparent, not sure it artificial or not but it does smell like blue berry candy. Its pretty much clear pale. First taste is golden ale, perhaps even a little tartness. Yes, it even comes across as refreshing after a while. Very little if any ill ale effects. Bitterness is well muted and it is much better than your typical fruit beer. Good co2 in there. Yes, its a nice balanced drink that I could do a few of. Would like to have had a couple more bottles. Hides the alky very well, you'd never know this was 5%. Decent all round friendly brew that is much better than expected. Thanks MD. Finish does have a little bit of a processed feel to it but it doesn't distract from the overall experience.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of blueberry, malt and slight hops. Light-bodied with flavors of semi-sweet blueberry, biscuit malt and mild hops. The finish is fruity with a berry aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
