Brewed with Coriander and white tea. Citrusy, hoppy & bitter with refreshing notes of spice. Who gives a monkey? Dutch seafarers returning from the east would often bring back monkeys, which they would sell to tavern-keepers to pay off drinking debts. Our IPA, with its hints of botanicals and spice, is a tribute to those sailors’ spirit of adventure and quick thinking.

On tap at Lowlander taproom, Amsterdam, Saturday 10th January 2026, after a treacherous walk from the Buiksloterweg boat mooring. Pours urine gold colour with a mid sized sticky white head. Another beer that's absolutely fine but the botanicals added are a little bit too much. It's fresh, it's a little zingy, fine but not wowing me. Score 6.5

It is a delicious IPA, hoppy, citrus, orange peel, subtle aromas, well balanced, white tea in discreet dosis, giving more structure, 23.03.18, drinking it at Bonfol.

Bottle at home. Aroma is citrus, tea, fruity hops, grapefruit, pine resin, light spicy, hint of floral. Flavour is lightly sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Surprisingly good, well-balanced and fruity with some lovely tea notes. Interesting new brewer on the Dutch scene.

Lattina. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal luppolo. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è intenso. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso, agrumi, pompelmo e ananas.

330ml bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of grapefruit, peach, coriander & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Very enjoyable

Bottle 0,33: Slightly hazy orange coloured brew with an dry bitter taste with hints of citrus, caramel, coriander and a bit of tea. Also gusher alert.

Bottle from a Jumbo in Arnhem. Gold with a creamy, white head. Lemon aroma. Herbal. Vanilla and coriander. Taste is herbal/grassy bitter the whole way through. Crisp finish that lingers. Medium-bodied, good chewiness, refreshing. Good one!
