A mixed variety of coloured malts are used to create a sweet, full bodied ruby ale, With late additions of citrus hops gives this ale a well rounded dry hopped finish.
HOPS & MALTS
Australian Ella & Extra pale maris otter malts.
East kent goldings hops,
Crystal & Chocolate malts are added to give sweetness & caramel notes.
American cascade hops.
5 different malts including best ale, Torrified Wheat,
Cara red, Chocolate & Black malt.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As AJ’s Ales Ruby Red ].Clear medium red amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, candy, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, caramel, sweet malt, candy, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151008] 6-3-6-3-12

Cask at the Wellington; clear amber pour with a bubbly tan head, aroma has light fruit, taste has light fruits, some toffee, hint of bitter.

Gravity cask at Nottingham festival day two with fonefan, Charlotte & chriso. Clear golden amber color. Aroma of peppery caramel biscuit. Taste is lightly toasted caramel.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear reddish amber with a frothy off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a malt, rich red berry fruit, light floral palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Fresh and well kept. A superb session ale.
