Cask at The Guildford Arms. Pours deep dark brown with a thick tan head. Aromas of charcoal, chocolate. Taste is more roasty notes, light sweet stine fruit. Pepper noticeable on the finish, but not in hot way. Rich texture, full bodied.

Cask at Bow Bar. Black body with a thin beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of ash, brambles and black pepper. Flavour of dark chocolate with a lingering peppery spice. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Faint carbonation prickle. Doesn’t taste of much, but the peppery finish is well judged.
