33cl bottle. Fast klare dunkel goldene Farbe, geringe weiße schaumkrone. Geruch metallisch hopfig, getreidig malzig. Geschmack getreidig süß malzig, leicht metallisch hopfig, naja!

Bottled@PBF XI. Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some earthy and mild bready notes. Flavour is floral, grassy, some fruity and mild grainy notes. Balanced, and pleasantly refreshing.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 15/7/2016. Deep gold with a thin, white, head. Sweet, flabby, grains, a hint of floral hop, heavy, perfumed, notes and moderately bitter finish. Not for me.

33cl bottle @PBF XI. Poured golden color with a thin white head. Grainy malty, slightly buttery aroma. Flavor has grains, earth, mild buttery notes. Sweet finish.

A quite nice and easy drinkable pilsener.
Quite typical golden color. Ok aroma. Medium body and an average to soft carbonation. Malty and mild herbal flavor.

Temple Bar. Keg. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and crispy. Clean lager malts, some mild sweetness and florlaness. Touch of citrus. Light finish, mild bitterness. Clean lager.

Keg at Pavlov’s Dog, Reading. Pale gold with a thin white head and quite a lot of fizz. Light refreshing floral notes up front turn into a full-on rose petal and parma violet fest that stays (just) the right side of Crabtree and Evelyn’s old lady hand cream. Quite sweet- maybe a little marzipan in there. Very light bitterness in the finish. Possibly one of the most unusual beers I’ve had, and certainly one of the most floral. I liked it better than most lagers, but I’m still unlikely to go back to it. On adding my review to Ratebeer it seems very different to others’ experience of this brew, but the barman definitely served from this tap, and none of the other beers on the other taps match these flavours so don’t think it was a tap connection crossover. Hmmm...

Keg at the Earl of Beaconsfield, Cambridge. Deeper yellow/gold than your average pilsener. Heavy carbonation. Neat little white head. Lemony/grassy aroma: nothing particularly original or enticing. The taste is sweet/sour with a dry, almost spicy bite at the finish. The carbonation doesn’t feel as intense as it looks, and adds to the mouthfeel. Not particularly special, but certainly enjoyable enough.

On Tap at the MailBox, Lincoln. Pale gold colour with a white head. Aroma is earthy malt and hops. Taste grainy bitter sweet. Ok, but not great.
