Keg at the draft house. Pale yellow clear coloured pour with a lasting white cap. Aroma is semi sweet, grainy lager notes, bit stale. Flavour is composed of grainy, light vinegar, pale grains, stale grains. Meh. Palate is crisp moderate high carbonation. Really not very good.

Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. A slightly hazy straw pour with a tight cream head; grainy aroma with soem citrus and fresh grass; smooth grainy body, with a thick soupy consistency; then a touch of citrus and a smooth bready finish. More of a meal than a drink, a good real Pilsner.

Tap(Bayswater Arms, Bayswater):Pale golden to golden, lively carbonation, small, stable and lacy white head; mild dryish herbal hoppy nose, pale malty base hardly detectable; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied eith a faint illusion of a malty body; dryish grainy-fruity finish. Tastes like a stupid german industrial Pils; not a great pleasure…

On tap at Hack & Hop Fleet Street. Clear ish pale gold thin white head. Lager malts. Some lemon hop sting on the finish. It’s just about ok. Touch of puke. Not great but lemon finish is fine.

Keg at Union Tavern. It pours clear golden-amber with a minimal fizzy white head. The nose is lemon & lime, sweet, grass and sweet dough. The taste is grassy, lemon pith, lime, gala melon, light sweetness and buttered bread with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Straight forward, easy going pils.
