Handpull cask at the Glenhill Sports and Social Club, Glen Parva, Leics. Very very dark brown with a hint of translucency. A large thick creamy head. Liquorice, blackberry and balsamic vinegar in the aroma. Sweet taste with an earthy sour bitterness in the finish. Not the best mild I've ever had.

Leeds Beer Festival 2017. Dark, slightly sweet mild but very palatable - certainly in its texture.

Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2016. Mahogany colour with a thin head. Roasted malt and light fruit aroma and taste that has a touch of coffee.

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Town and Country Club, Rugby on 25th June 2014. Looks like a Mild, dark brown to almost black with a red hue: creamy, but thin head. Malty with a slight bitter finish: decent but not great, my pour might have been towards the end of an old barrel, as there was a distinct off-ish feel to the taste, with vinegar notes trying to assert themselves. Scored as best I can under the circumstances.
