Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Waen Black Forest ].Clear medium to dark brown color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, berries - blackberry - raspberry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, dark malt, berries - blackberry - raspberry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Gravity cask at Nottingham festival 2015. Clear maroon color, fluffy tan head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of berries, citrus. Taste is big berries, soft roasty bitterness. Interesting.
