My Xmas rating No 28.Dark amber colour with medium head.Aroma is spicy and fruity taste of dried fruit and hops mild and good note of yeast medium body and smooth finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, nutty brown with a lacing, beige head. Vague roast aroma, a little nuts and chocolate. Medium body, estery and phenollic, if not exactly spoiled. Problem is there's very little going on here. No Dubbel yeast complexity, it could almost pass as a slightly stronger Amber Ale. Vague lurking tartness underneath. 230521

[ As Borgs Bryghus HO-HO-HO ].
ABV: 6.8%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, sugar - muscovado sugar, anis seed, light chocolate, light to moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, candy yeast - sweet yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, star anis, candy, caramel, orange peel, sweet yeast - candy yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
