375ml bottle. Opalescent, orangey, dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy, partially replenished, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Tangy, funky, lactic aroma, notes of brine, mustard seed, a touch of sauerkraut, coffee interludes, some vinous fruitiness. Taste is sour, tangy, funky, lactic, hints of vinegar, brine, grapes, unripe fruit, coffee interludes. Watery texture, dry and slightly astringent palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Slightly strange composition; at first sight a complete mismatch (sour beer and coffee), but you'll find out that this is not the case. You rather miss even more (and constant) coffee notes for a better balanced, more harmonious and homogeneous result - not fully convincing.

ABV: 4.8%. Unclear - hazy medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, coffee, coffee bean, dusty coffee, wheat, moderate to light yeast, fruity yeast, light saison yeast, leather - funk notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, sour fruit - sour berries, wheat - pale malt, still some coffee, dusty coffee, sweet coffee, light fruity yeast, vinous note - touch. Very balanced and one off the best pale coffe beer i have tried. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200208]
