Our dark chestnut-coloured festive ale is brewed with a subtle hint of Christmas spices. The combination of barley and wheat malts layered with traditional English hops imparts a subtly sweet, dried fruits flavour and a distinctive nose of sherry and cinnamon. A perfect ale to be savoured through the long winter evenings.

7/2/2025. Cask at the 15th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours almost clear mid-brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma has a big hit of spice market, fruit cake, dried fruits, sherry. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slightly watery, soft carbonation. Dry spiced finish. Promises a lot but lacks body and fades on first impressions.
