Sample courtesy Grumbo. Small head with short duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, vanilla, caramel, coffee, vegetables, licorice and hops. Nice coffee and vanilla finish.

Frothy white fair mostly diminishing head. Black colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Some not pleasent burned vanilla. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Thanks. Almost black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and light vanilla. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and roasted light bitter finish. Oily. 060320

28/2/2020. Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival 2020. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, coffee, light roasted malt and dark fruit. Medium sweetness and light to moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slightly watery texture.
