Bottled. Ambery brown colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some wooden and mild earthy notes. Flavour is floral, herbal, some nectar, wood and mild tartness. Tasted a bit old.

Bottle 750ml. corked. [ As Monkish Brown Habit ].Clear medium to dark red - orange amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, candy, caramelized malt - sugar, moderate to heavy yeasty, dried fruit, belgium yeast. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, yeast bitter, caramelized malt, candy, dried fruit, sharp. 750ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours clear copper brown with a thick off-white head. Aromas of pepper, sour brown bread, spice, prunes. Taste is plummy, light spice, steamed doughy puddings. Dry, slightly thin finish.
