2 try lucky. Tried this one before Christmas also. My notes was completely unreadable. Wonder why….. Glad I had the chance to try it one more time. It went of the board at my visit. Opaque black pour with fine tan head. Also really nice aroma with a fine intensity. Happy start. A fine mellow carbonation level and a decent fine sweetness made it very easy to drink. Also quite well masked alcohol. Chocolate, oak, vinous, raisins and fruity flavor. Fine complexity. A really nice and pleasant evening sipper in the basement by the fire. [On tap @ source]

Small bubbly mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, caramel malts, toast, oak, minerals, alcohol, toffee, nuts, chocolate, butterscotch, grass, hay, hints of licorice. Taste is slightly sweet boozy, dark sugar, oak, toast, cough syrup, alcohol, licorice, caramel malts, chocolate, minerals, bark, soil, old rope, dried dark fruits. Medium bitterness, slightly sweet boozy mouthfeel. Nice.

Tap @ Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, light apples and light armagnac. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Good balance. 230119
