Cask at Edmunds Brew House, 04/02/17. Clear orange amber with a well appointed off white head. Nose is light bread, fruit esters, twiggy and sweet smelling. Taste comprises much the same, sweet caramel notes, fruit esters, fruit cake melt - in a bad way, syrupy sweet. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Insipid and overly sweet amateurish affair ... Glen has nailed it with ’syrupy homebrew’ ... I left approx two-thirds of my half ... just couldn’t be bothered wasting time and calorie intake on this garbage brew.
