Bottle from Against The Grain. Hazy golden body with a white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peach, lime chutney and liquorice root. Flavour of lemon, pine and grapefruit. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A heavily hopped pale ale.

(Draught at Kernel Taproom Arch 7, Bermondsey, London, 11 May 2024) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple and biscuits. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, lemon peel, pineapple, grass, white bread and a balanced citric/grassy bitterness. Medium body, dry. Fresh and tasty. Very nice.

Bottle at home, 25th May 2024. Pours an off clear golden. Aroma is aromatic, citrus, pithy, light pine. Taste is dry, citrus, pith, bitter, great flavours for the low ABV, lovely

500ml bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours slightly hazy yellow - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, fresh , bright, orange peel, tangerine, orange sherbet, mango, juicy, gummy bears, touch green and pine needles. The taste crisp and firm upfront, snappy, some pleasing bitterness, green vibes, pine needles, pithy, zesty, citrus peel, bitter orange, grapefruit, floral accents, straw and a snap of spice. Finish is lingering bitterness and citrus peel. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Super drinkable gear. Very moreish.

Keg at kernel arch 7. A mostly clear golden yellow coloured pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is soft bready grains, pine, grass, light herbal, cut clippings,. Palate is soft and crisp, moderate carbonation. Light grains. Super crushable, delicate hop. Really nice.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Hazed glowing yellow gold. Very decent Kernel swede. Nose has dry grain. Bit of straw. Faded citrus. Yellow melon skin and flesh. Whiff of peach stone. Taste is light dry and light, pithy bitter. Very clean and easy drinking with brisk rolling carbonation. Dry-ish and light bitter on the finish. Sank it.

Keg at Mother Arch II, 12/04/24. Unclear golden orange with a white cap that thins to a swirl and edgework. Nose is juicy citric flesh, melon, tangerine, soft breads, airy malts. Taste comprises orange zest, ripe melon, subtle pine needle, mandarin, toasted malts, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with balanced light juicy hop bitterness. Tidy enough crushable low boost pale.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a small, foamy white head. Light sweet flavour with gorgeous, soft citrus, a little pale bread, relaxed bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp, rounded finish. Totally drinkable.
