Tropigamma is a tropical IPA brewed with lactose, bucket-loads of pineapple juice and mango puree in the whirlpool with the hops, and mandarin, papaya, passionfruit, guava and lime juice towards the end of fermentation (all contributing to an intensely hazy fresh fruit juice in the morning beer).
Juicy tropical fruits combine with big bold hops on the nose to lure you in with complex aromas of citrus, ripe mango and pine. The flavour is fruit driven (obviously), leading with sweet mandarin, tangy passionfruit and round mango and finishing with a satisfying hoppy, bitter bite with the addition of oats keeping the drinking experience smooth and round. This is literally a fruit explosion in a can!

Canned. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a big foamy/creamy white head, which leaves lace. Aroma is sweet malts, tropical fruits, some mango and mild dried apricot. Flavour is very similar to the elements of the aroma, but also has a nice crisp bitterness to it. Lovely

Draught @ Fox and Hounds Sønderborg on Øllets Dag 2022. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of fruit and hops, with touches of yeast. Bitter flavour of hops and citrus, with touches of yeast and malty hints. Bitter and estery aftertaste. Reasonable, although the taste is not quite as strong as the ABV might suggest.

Can from Cork and Cask. At 5.4%, which feels like a sufficient difference that it should maybe be a separate listing. Pours a lumpy yellow gold with a short-lived thin white head. Light tropical fruit aromas. Similar on the taste. Thin finish.

Can from a pub as a carry out I think. Can’t remember which. Appearance - cloudy golden orange with a thin head. Looks like a glass of pineapple juice. Nose - pineapple and mango. Taste - more of the pineapple, thinking papaya too. Some zip of lime or grapefruit on the finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good beer. Very enjoyable.
