Cinnamon, toffee, rye whiskey, vanilla, cardamom, and pecan. Sweet and deeply malty, with a mellow, musty bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, sticky, and grainy. Beautiful, balanced, and delicious.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, caramel, vanilla fudge, coconut, dark fruits, taste is sweet toffee, vanilla, coconut, chocolate,meaty, fruity, peppery rye. 9/9/9/9/8

Bottle from Valley Beverage, Sherman Oaks. Opaque black with veneer of head, nice viscosity, trace lacing. Aroma is strong, fruity bourbon, roasted molasses. Taste is strong bourbon, rye, molasses. Smooth, thick texture, full bodied, soft carbonation, no sign of alcohol, and finish as taste. Rye/bourbon would not exactly be described as "mellow" (like Pure Project Soul Alchemy) but likely good matches for each other.

2025 bottle. Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has strong dark grains and rye with a growing roast and a bit of dark chocolate underlying. Flavor has dark grains and roast with a bit of rye and bourbon/molasses that grow through the finish.

Bottle purchased in November 2023 on a trip to Disney. Enjoyed in May 2025. Deep black with big brown head. Aroma of treacle, vanilla, barrel, booze and chocolate. Flavor is massive booze and chocolate. Bakers chocolate and powdered chocolate on the flavor. Viscous and velvety mouthfeel. Great!
