[ As Nottingham 40th Festivale XL ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted - toasted, tobacco, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, tobacco, earthy, dark malt. Gravity cask at the Bell in Nottingham. Clear amber maroon color, scant head. Aroma of toasted caramel. Taste is lightly burnt caramel. Light body.
