Rokkarin Luu on rungoltaan kevyen maltainen, jopa hieman hunajainen. Tuoksussa yhdistyvät trooppiset hedelmät ja sitruksisuus.

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #003: BBE 06.08.2016. Malty and biscuity aroma with fruits and minerals. Also some bush leaves. Flavour has bush leaves, mild pea soup notes typical to Laitila beers, fruity hops, minerals and some biscuity malt. Slight off-flavours here but this is somewhat enjoyable anyway.

Hazy yellow color, small steady white head, some lace. Fruity aroma has overriped fruits and fermenting gases. Light-bodied to medium-bodied bodied but overall watery feeling. Fruits, grassy-citrusy bitterness. Sweetish crystal malts. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit home-brewish.

A hazy, light yellow beer, a head is white and almost medium. Aroma has strong vegetables, behind hint of fruits and pine. Taste has fruitness, vegetables, herbs, the bitterness is quite mild. Light+ bodied. Too much vegetables.

Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head, which still leaves some good lace. Aroma is kind of grainy/crystal malty with some floral and mild earthy notes. Flavour is grassy, herbal and quite strong biscuity/crystal malty notes. When cold too crystal/biscuity, but as it warmed up a bit the hops gave a smoothness to it, and you could feel it’s actually an APA. Still the same tip, slightly less of the biscuity/crystal maltiness and this would be nice.
