Sensual: relating to or consisting of the gratification of the senses. This award winning recipe is a showcase of honey that is aromatic, flavorful, and deliciously sweet with a long lasting smooth finish.
Enjoy with any dish, especially spicy food. We suggest to serve slightly chilled, or over ice on a hot summer night.

Bottle from The Beer Junction, Seattle; synthetic cork
Measured Final Gravity: 1016
Hazy dark blond color. To be frank, I had German supermarket meads at 3€ for 750ml that were as good as this one; too much honey and wax. Moderate sweetness, warming alcohol but no booze kick.
No pleasure.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy dull copper with a tiny head. Nose brings out lots of honey - pure honey, not much else. Flavour brings out pure honey, along with lots of alcohol. A pure honey mead, with nothing much else. A little too alcohol, but very nice.

Bottle - Sweet big honey notes. Clear gold. Sweet honey. Tastes and smells like raw honey. Honey is cheaper.

Bottle from Charles St. Liquors. Baby Duvel glass. Clear, rich, straight gold body. Tiny, tiny particles. Uniform legs. Slight bit of foaming. Smells is quite big on floral honey. Chamomile, cream, maple candies, apple acidity, wax. Fuming alcohol. Somewhat sharp apple/malic acid forward taste. White sugar sweetness. Waxy floral/grassy honey. Tart lemon. Savignon Blanc. Bit of cardboard. Slippery body, subtly numbing. Grain & mushroom-like earthiness on the finish. Went in expecting something rich & deep, but still enjoyed the bottle.
