Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter salt lakris, havre og mineraler. Lett. Maltig. Smaker lakris, havre og noe mørk sjokolade. Middels lang.

On tap at Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small cream head and good lacing. The aroma has roast malts with some hints of chocolate. Roast malts to the fore again in the mouth, along with dark fruits, chocolate and hints of coffee, over a caramel base. Late some cola and traces of lemon can be detected too. Finish is slightly bitter. This is decent.

Can. A lovely robust porter, lots of flavour for the abv. Roasty, sweet, dark malts, chocolate, caramel, very light acidity and hops. Lovely.

Tap at Croxtons, Southsea. Aroma is sweet - had this got caramel in it? Opaque very dark brown. Creamy beige head. Flava has sweet caramel, coffee and malts, with a sweet tinged sout berry edge. Medium-heavy bodied. Oily. Flat-average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Pleasant Porter that is doing the job as a pudding replacement.

Pours a black body and a dense brown head with some retention. Aroma's: roasted malts, light cocoa powder, light umami, a bit coffee. Retronasal its orasted, sweetish, chocolate. Flavour is light moderate sweet, a bit roasted. Light bodied. Finishes roasted, light bitter. Nice and oldschool.
