Introducing our second beer release "Melody Madness" a 10.7% ABV double chocolate imperial stout brewed with vegan brownies.
8 malts and 2.4kg of home made vegan brownies went into the mash for this one. Lactose, brown sugar and molasses into a 2 hour boil. Then whirlpooled with organic milkshake mix to create a malty hot chocolate.
4 week fermentation, 8 weeks conditioned then another 21 weeks bottle conditioned.
Carbonated at a slightly lower amount for a smooth velvet finish!

Bottle ordered from a shop in Didcot or thereabouts... Southern League territory wherever it was. Aroma is boozy. Barrel and dark fruit. Underlying horlicks. Kreosote. Darkest brown. No head. Flavourwise we have a big dose of booze but also sour-edged fruit and dark chocolate. Fruit vinegar. Although molasses sweetness then appears into the finish. Medium-heavy bodied. Oily. Soft lazy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Big sour boozy Impy. Thought it must have been barrel aged but that's not the case.
