Just kinda flat. Good.

6 week old bottle > tulip A: Poured a clear rich medium gold with short fast falling head, leaving a ring and some lace. S: Bready aroma with leafy or grassy hop notes. T: Crisp bitterness well balanced by mildly sweet caramel and toast. Not overly bitter nor sweet. M: Light and crisply carbonated, finishing slightly sweet and resinous. O: Good easy drinking fresh local ale. No world beater but you can do a lot worse. Good value too means worth buying.

Bottle courtesy of Bill on 07/12/2009. Clear golden amber body with a small frothy off-white head. Sweet earthy and pale malt aroma. Earthy, slightly spicy malt flavor with a bit of floral hops. Medium body with moderately low carbonation.

Slightly hazy golden coloured amber body with a thinnish light tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, caramel, nuts and a bit of sugar - pretty nice, mostly nutty though - so the EPA shows through. Medium-bodied; Strong caramel flavour tucked in with the english low a.a. hops and a nice rounded out maltiness. Aftertaste shows sweetness and the hops bittering at the end. Overall, a nice beer - definitely an EPA, but not an amazing choice. It went well and was a good base for Fish & Chips, but I wouldn’t buy a six pack of this! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Durham, North Carolina on 31-August-2008, at home in Washington on 21-October-2008.
