English style ale noted for being of extra strength and hop character as opposed to the regular Bitter or Mild as found in British taverns and pubs. Our version is made with English Pale Crystal malts and is lightly hopped with English Challenger and Progress hops. Color would be light copper in appearance.

Growler from the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber with a thin fizzy white head. Below average head retention. Aroma of caramel, bready notes and faint floral hops. The taste is toasted malts, faint caramel, an almost chocolate note and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied. Very dry. Lively carbonation. Nice.
