Bottle from Queen City on 02/17/2009. Clear dark brown body with ruby highlights and a medium frothy tan head. Sweet roast and toasty malt aroma. Sweet molassas, toast, slight roast, caramel, and yeast flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Twelve ounce bottle from the brewery. Pours a dark cola brown color with a medium creamy head, good head retention and not so good lacing. Toffee aroma with some raisin and corn notes. Big raisin in the taste with some roasted malts and molasses. Slightly bitter hop finish. Medium bodied. One of their better brews I’ve tried so far and quite interesting.
