This dark wheat beer has many of the characteristics of our popular Hefeweizen, such as its creamy, long-lasting head, and yeast-derived banana and clove notes in both the aroma and flavor. The addition of several dark malts provides pleasant toasty and chocolate-like notes.

12oz bottle-pours a big rich light tan head and copper/red color. Aroma is mild roasted wheat/medium malt. Taste is mild roasted wheat/medium malt-caramel, slight spice hops. Seems to have some off fruit notes. Thanks decaturstevo for picking this out.

12 ounce bottle from the brewery. Pours a deep, clear red with a large foamy head. Good head retention and nice lacing. Malty aroma with hints of banana, clove and chocolate. Taste is chocolate, banana and wheat. Medium bodied. Fairly straightforward.
