Cask at the Queens Head, Stourbridge at 4.4%. Pours pale gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet ginger and straw. Taste has started to start with a light, soapy, yeasty ginger finish. Soft mouthfeel.

21/8/2024. Cask at the 45th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear very pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is mild ginger, sweet malts, sweetmeal biscuit. Quite heavy sweetness, light bitterness and body. Watery, soft carbonation. Didn't grab me his one.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a very pale straw with minimal off-white head and good lacing. There’s a sweet aroma with plenty of ginger and some hints of citrus. Sweetness and ginger to the fore in the mouth as well, with hints of malts and banana. Later some underlying bitterness can be detected, plus traces of lime and herbs leading to a fruity finish. This is decent.
