TASTE OF THE LEVELS. Putcher is an Extra Pale Ale produced by AOBC and the Living Levels Partnership to celebrate the Gwent Levels and its unique and fascinating 'Levels Lingo'. A Putcher is a funnel shaped basket traditionally made from hazel rods and willow plait for catching salmon and eels in the River Severn and tributaries. This straw-coloured ale is fresh and hoppy and very moreish.
