330ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small, dense, creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, chocolately and roasty, dark malty, slightly spicy and minimally yeasty fruity aroma, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, some treacle, vanilla, dark caramel, a touch of plum and blueberry, whiffs of toffee and coffee. Taste is roasty and slightly chocolately, dark malty, sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly spicy, notes of burnt caramel, some toffee, cocoa, some roasty and hoppy bitterness, some vanilla.
Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Good mouthfeel, nice nose, slightly disharmoniuous, heterogeneous and non-integrated concerning taste - decent.

1/5/2023. Bottle bought direct from the Brewery shared at SBGP2. Pours jet black with a small frothy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruits, light coffee, treacle, vanilla, liquorice. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily slick mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Enjoyable. 20th and best beer I’ve had from Broadtown.
