Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XI) by oh6gdx - Petalax ]. [ As Mallaskuun Oatmeal Stout ].Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, oat, dark malt, light shoe shin - leather - burn. Initial flavor is moderate sweet, finish flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, roasted - coffee, burnt, ash, thin, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20160708] 5-4-5-3-10

Smell of roasted malt, chocolate. Very dark brown colour, high brown head. Aroma of oat, roasted malt. Watery, which is nonsurprising. Mildly bitter, mildly sweet. Very light body. Flat, soft carbon. Slightly dry palate. Not a totally traditional oatmeal stout, there’s some Black IPA character in it.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, 29160813) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, sweet chocolate and cocoa. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burnt malts, cocoa, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, sweet and bitter. A good low ABV stout.

Tap at SOPP 2016, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, dryness and roasted malts.

33cl bottle @PBF XI. Poured cola brown with a thin off white head. Cocoa, oatmeal in aroma. Flavor has cocoa, cold coffee, roastedness. Watery, light body.

A colablack beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has breadyness, some coffee and roastiness, also notes of vegetables. Taste has strong roastiness and some coffee, the end is slightly harsh. Almost medium bodied, nicely smooth palate. Slightly unbalanced.

Tap at SOPP Tampere. Opaque brown color, good creamy beige head. Licorice, berries in the nose. Light-bodied. Licorice, berries, coffee. Some off-flavors.

Bottled@Mallaskosken pienpanimotapahtuma VI. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some mild toffee, east and crisp maltiness. Flavour is roasted, some floral notes along with wood, toffee and some earthy notes. Balanced, and quite nice for being only 3.8 % abv. Good thirst quencher and session beer.
